Register your interest for Cocoknits in France
Early May 2027
We’re in the process of putting together a knitting retreat with Cocoknits in the Gers, a beautiful area 1.5 hrs west of Toulouse in southwest France. It will begin in Paris at the Lainorama yarn show where people will choose their yarn. From there we will take the train to Toulouse and onwards to our accommodation.
We’re still working on the content but over the 8 night/9 day retreat we plan to include:
five full days knitting tuition with Cocoknits’ founder Julie Weisenberger and expert knitter Tracy Russell
8 nights’ accommodation in Lectoure, a pretty town famous for its antique shops, thermal spa and point of rest for pilgims on the Compostella route
All meals and wine except for one lunch and one dinner at guest cost. Includes a meal at a local restaurant
A wine and armagnac tasting at an aware-winning vineyard
A natural dye session with a local specialist in botanical dyes
Excurion to Les Jardins de Coursiana gardens in La Romieu
One way train travel from Paris to Toulouse
